THE PLAKARD PROJECT
Matthew John Scicluna and Kyle Drakard, members of the Maltese band “The PlaKard Project”, released on January of this year, their debut album “Jump The Fence”, a diversified project which combines a mixture of different music genres, demonstrating contemporary jazz, hip hop and experimental music influences.
The project “Jump The Fence” came from an experience which demanded that the artists Matthew and Kyle would jump a fence whilst they were trapped in a festival. That situation inspired the duo to work in a song named “Jump The Fence” which would later name the album.
The album, inspired by several music genres, can be interpreted as a story on environmental, social and personal limits and artistic fears, which create “fences” and challenges.
The PlaKard Project on the 16th of January release the new single "April 29th" from the album "Jump The Fence", a project that will be presented in Portugal and Spain, on the Iberian Tour, sheduled for April of 2019, endorsed by Music For All.
